There is a place for every child at SPC on Sundays. Elementary-age kids meet with their leaders for games, teaching, crafts, prayer and discussion. Children ages infant through Pre-Kindergarten have classes with loving teachers and age-appropriate lessons. Every child has the opportunity to develop friendships with other kids and relationships with adult leaders who care for them. Our mission is to teach our kids to "Love God, Love Others, Serve Both."
JAMCity caregivers will hold babies, supervise toddler play, and encourage older toddlers to join the circle for a Bible story time and craft.
Children will join their JAMCity Leaders and friends for a Bible lesson, music, memory verse time, and fun activity.
After about 20 minutes in worship, children will be excused from the service and proceed to the Welcome Table to find their grade-level Leader and go to their rooms. Together with their JAMCity Leaders and friends, kids will hear a Bible message, play games and participate in fun activities.
Look for one of our three Computer Check-in Kiosks in Sanctuary Hall. Use the last four digits of your phone number to find your family in the computer. The kiosk will print each child a name-tag to wear for the day. It will also print a duplicate "Parent Ticket" for the parent to use when they pick up the child from their classes.
There is a New Visitor Welcome Table for parents with kids. A volunteer at the table will help you register, make name-tags and show you where to drop off your children for the worship service. Elementary-age children will join their parents in the worship service until they are dismissed to their leaders about 20 minutes after the service begins. All kids Infant-Pre-K have class for the entire worship service.
We ask that parents whose children were in Sunday Morning programming last school year update each child's information at the Children's Ministry Welcome Table in the Sanctuary Hall on Sunday mornings.
Sometimes the leaders in our elementary-age classes will bring snacks for the kids. Please notify us of any allergies when you register your child. We do make every effort to be a nut-free environment.
