At SPC, following Jesus into the world literally means that we want to serve Christ anywhere and everywhere we can across the globe. For some this will mean getting on an airplane and traveling outside the country. For others this will mean knitting hats to send to kids that need them. In all of these ways we are joining in Christ's work in our world.
This next summer (likely mid-July, 2019) join us for the trip of a lifetime to visit our World Vision sponsor children and community in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). Led by Pastor Jeff Lincicome, participants will get to see the work World Vision is doing firsthand through SPC's sponsorship funds, as well as having the chance to meet your sponsor child(ren) there. If interested in applying, email Pastor Jeff at by January 15, 2019.
All are welcome to join this knitting group which meets the first and third Wednesday of each month from 1-3pm in the Quiet Room of the Sanctuary. Together, we knit items that are donated to World Vision who distribute them to people in need around the world. No experience necessary. Patterns are provided; please bring your own supplies. For more information, connect with us through the contact form on the right, or call 425.868.5186 x101.
