Directions to SPC

A Warm Greeting

Greeters will meet you at the entrance to welcome you to SPC, and answer any questions you may have (or point you to the person who will be best able to assist you). Our greeters are here to help you get settled and comfortable.

Once you walk into the Sanctuary, ushers will offer you a worship bulletin, and help you find a seat, if needed. If the service hasn't yet begun, the ushers can introduce you to a pastor, if you'd like.

Hot Coffee and Get Connected

Just to your right, as you enter the main doors to the church, fresh, hot coffee is available for your enjoyment. Directly in front of the coffee area is our Get Connected table. After each service, volunteers man this area to answer any questions you might have, provide printed collateral for you to take, and give each first-time visitor a drink tumbler with a coupon to have coffee with a pastor at your convenience.

On Sunday mornings, SPC strives to create a worship experience that is welcoming to all:

  • Musical instrumentation is contemporary/modern (piano, guitar, bass, drums are typical).
  • Both traditional hymns and more recent Christian songs are sung.
  • Dress is “casual”, much like many work places.
  • Visitors are welcomed from the pulpit, but are not asked to identify themselves publicly. (No “raise your hand if you’re new!”)
  • The first half of the service includes singing, prayers, and announcements; the second half includes the message or sermon and closing songs.

Details about upcoming special services (Christmas, Easter, etc.) can be found on the worship calendar or the Events page.

Sunday Classes

SPC offers Sunday morning classes and/or childcare for ages infant through 12th grade, and periodic Adult Ministry classes. For more detailed class information, visit:

A map of classrooms may be viewed here. Of course, families are always welcome to worship together during the service. Our quiet room with a view to the Sanctuary and audio feed is available if you need to comfort a small child.
