    Luke 19:28-40

    1. How do you make your grand entry when you come home: With a silent grunt? A big splash? A hug and kiss? Yelling, "I'm hungry!"?

    2. What task does Jesus give two of his disciples? Why? What problems might they have encountered in such a job?

    3. What kind of reception would Jesus get if he rode into Sammamish today?

    4. Luke says there were multiple owners of the same donkey (Luke 19:33), meaning that it was a community asset, likely too costly for one family to own. This tells us something about the economics of the families being approached and how precious this animal was. Why do you think they were willing to let the disciples take their precious donkey? What are some possible answers? What is your hunch?

    5. What do you hold most precious to you? What would cause you to be willing to give it up? Have you had an experience when God came and said, "the Lord needs it," and you chose to obey? What was that experience like for you? What did it do to your faith?
