    Revelation 22:1-5

    1. Name a time (if ever) when you were in a place where water was noticeably scarce. What was it like? How did people in that culture operate?

    2. Water plays a huge factor in Scripture. Think through the different “water stories” in the Bible. What is common among them all?

What does water do and represent for the people of God?
    3. It is no coincidence that the river of life that appears in the Garden of Eden also appears in the vision of the city of God in Revelation. What is different about the two accounts? What is the same?

    4. Water is life, water is power, water is deliverance. How have you seen God at work as life giver, power source and deliverer in your life?

    5. One of the main ways we use water in the church is through the Sacrament of baptism. How does water baptism remind us of who God is and what God is doing in us? What can you do to remember your baptism this week as a symbol of God’s love for you?
