We will begin our next sermon series on April 14th. In preparation for this, we encourage you to read ahead, and be thinking about or discussing these questions.
- One of the oldest symbols of new life in Christ is baptism. If you have been baptized, talk about your experience – Do you remember it? What did/does it mean to you today? Does the fact that you are baptized impact how you live out your faith today? Why or why not?
- Read Acts 1:1-5 out loud, slowly. As you do, picture one of the possible scenes with Jesus and his followers. The people who we’ve just learned about are likely the ones with him. What must it be like to sit with him, hear him talk, see him alive…after such a horrible and definitive death? What questions would you want to ask him? Would you be right next to him…or back a ways?
