Return to Campus

“For to this end we toil and struggle, because we have our hope set on the living God,
who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.”

1 Timothy 4:10

What a journey this past year has been. Sammamish Presbyterian moved completely online in March, 2020 when the governor’s mandate asked us to consider the well-being of our neighbors and stay inside. During this time of the pandemic, Sammamish Presbyterian Church has seen God do beautiful and remarkable things in the lives of our members and in our community as we found ways to worship God and serve one another outside the four walls of our church building. We know and believe that the Church is not a building, but a people, bound together by the love of Jesus Christ.

As summer turned to fall, and the days grew shorter, it became clear to our staff and our elders that it was time for SPC to begin opening its doors once again to some in-person, on campus ministry. Please know that SPC is committed to serving the spiritual needs of all its people, and has no intention of moving away from virtual ministry. For those who feel comfortable and safe following CDC guidelines, we are also offering limited capacity, in-person ministry on Sunday evenings. Please see our guiding principles and core values as you and your family make decisions about how you will participate in the life of SPC during this season.

Core Values:

  • We will adhere to the State government and CDC guidelines regarding Covid protocols and standards.
  • We will wear masks and maintain social distancing norms.
  • We value and want to protect the vulnerable in our community.
  • We will attentively serve those who are not able to participate in in-person ministry.
  • We will align our programs with our Mission and Values, as we seek to be a Christ Centered Mission Minded Family committed to:
    • Practicing the ways of Jesus.
    • Moving toward others.
    • Navigating real life together.

What to Expect at Worship

Will Childcare or Activities for Children be Provided During Worship?

At this time, we are not offering activities for children during the worship service. Children's Ministry provides regular resources for parents and limited in-person events for families. Details can be found on the Children and Youth webpage. If you'd like to receive the Children's Ministry emails, please contact them at

Can we Attend Regular Sunday Services on Campus?

At this time we are not offering Sunday morning worship services on campus. Those continue to be available via live stream on the website and Facebook Live. We are however offering in-person services on Sunday evenings. Capacity for those services is limited and registration is required. A registration link for the upcoming Sunday open the Monday prior, on the homepage.

What About Singing, Greeting Our Neighbor during worship?

We all know how much the SPC community loves to sing praise to God and greet our friends during worship services! And, we all grieve not being able to do that at this time. Unfortunately, until it is safe to do those things again, we will continue to love each other by wearing our masks and not singing, and greeting each other from a safe, socially distanced space.

Please use this form to share any concerns, ideas or questions you may have
regarding returning to campus for worship and other events.
