Worship with us online Sunday mornings.

Return to Campus

“For to this end we toil and struggle, because we have our hope set on the living God,
who is the Savior of all people,
especially of those who believe.”

1 Timothy 4:10

Your opinion is important to us. Please let us know what your comfort level is in returning to campus in a limited way, and how you are personally doing as part of our family. The survey only take 2-3 minutes to complete. You can access it here.

What a journey the year 2020 has been. Sammamish Presbyterian moved completely online in March when the governor’s mandate asked us to consider the well-being of our neighbors and stay inside. For eight months, Sammamish Presbyterian Church has seen God do beautiful and remarkable things in the lives of our members and in our community as we found ways to worship God and serve one another outside the four walls of our church building. We know and believe that the Church is not a building, but a people, bound together by the love of Jesus Christ.

As summer turned to fall, and the days grew shorter, it became clear to our staff and our elders that it was time for SPC to begin opening its doors once again to some in-person, on campus ministry. Please know that SPC is committed to serving the spiritual needs of all its people, and has no intention of moving away from virtual ministry, but will be offering some on campus, in-person ministry during Advent and into the new year. Please see our guiding principles and core values as you and your family make decisions about how you will participate in the life of SPC during this season.

Core Values:

  • We will adhere to the State government and CDC guidelines regarding Covid protocols and standards.
  • We will wear masks and maintain social distancing norms.
  • We value and want to protect the vulnerable in our community.
  • We will attentively serve those who are not able to participate in in-person ministry.
  • We will align our programs with our Mission and Values, as we seek to be a Christ Centered Mission Minded Family committed to:
    • Practicing the ways of Jesus.
    • Moving toward others.
    • Navigating real life together.

What to Expect at Worship

(when we return)

Will Childcare or Activities for Children be Provided During Worship?

At this time, we are not offering activities for children during the worship service. Children's Ministry provides regular resources for parents and will offer a special in-person event during the Advent season. If you'd like to receive the Children's Ministry emails, please contact them at

Can we Attend Regular Sunday Services on Campus?

At this time we are not offering regular Sunday morning worship services on campus. Those continue to be available via live stream on the website and Facebook Live. We hope to be able to hold limited capacity, in-person services in the new year, depending on the CDC COVID guidelines and state mandates at that time.

What About Singing, Greeting Our Neighbor during worship?

We all know how much the SPC community loves to sing praise to God and greet our friends on Sunday mornings! And, we all grieve not being able to do that at this time. Unfortunately, until it is safe to do those things again, we will continue to love each other by wearing our masks and not singing, and greeting each other from a safe, socially distanced, outdoor space.

Please use this form to share any concerns, ideas or questions you may have
regarding returning to campus for worship and other events.
